Live Caster gives internet and terrestrial broadcasters 'Live Assist' capability from Android devices.
Live Caster captures high quality audio from your devices' microphone, encodes it to MP3 (and soon Ogg Vorbis), and streams it to any Shoutcast compatible server.
Live Caster uses native audio encoding and streaming libraries to give the best performance possible.
The only delay is the short buffer required to ensure smooth streaming, typically 2 seconds.
Tested with Airtime (https://www.sourcefabric.org/en/airtime/) and Icecast2, but Live Caster should be compatible with any broadcasting software that accepts Shoutcast style live assist connections.
Live Caster is a streaming audio client and connects to any Shoutcast compatible server, even password protected mount points.
